I heard them at one point discuss how Maury Wills should be in the Hall of Fame because he won an MVP during a year Willie Mays was ridiculous. Voter stupidity should not count towards HOF consideration. -
I think the polls usually come out on Monday. They may be a day late this week because of the holiday.Normally they come out Sunday night, because that's always when I post the thread for the next week. I'm guessing they'll be out tomorrow this time around.

I never know when the next poll comes out after week 1 since games are always going on all week(end). Is it coming out tonight, tomorrow, Tuesday...?

Uhh because playoff teams have good pitchers? Jamie Moyer, Brett Myers and Doug Davis are not so good that we should be unable to score runs off of them. And certainly not enough that they should be able to get out of it whenever we threaten.

Why does it seem like we have this much trouble scoring runs every game we play a playoff team? The Brewers being the apparent exception. Ramirez striking out trying to hit a 2 run homer with nobody on here is pretty predictable.

no lidge? Hm, good point. Then I suppose it'll be Jimmy against Lidge, which isn't an auto out necessarily.

DeRosa at SS, Fontenot 2B. I guess if Cotts can hold it down, we do have Lee and Ramirez coming up. Unfortunately, whoever hits 2nd is an auto out since it's either Reed against Madson or Edmonds against Eyre.

This is a righthanded pitcher. I really wish we'd PH Edmonds here, but since there aren't any shortstops left and Lou's allergic to putting DeRo or Fonty there, it won't happen.
