I suspect today's the day we mercifully just get our ass kicked but Miami loses in some stupid way to try to convince us that we might stumble ass over tea kettle into the playoffs.

Is that true? I remember us blowing a game and being mad even in advance that we were letting a sizzling Brewers team into the playoffs (which at the time meant we had to play the even more sizzling Dodgers) rather than giving ourselves a cushy matchup with the free falling Mets.
