I literally dread RISP with 0 out anymore

I'm not nearly as old as Pat and I'm sure I'd feel different if it was my actual job, but I always thought if I were lucky enough to get one of those jobs I would hate the idea of missing games or innings unless I had to, because I'd want my voice on any call of something crazy happening.

Well, Shota was fun for a couple months
  4. Andy
And it takes us what 2 pitches to give the run back
  5. Andy
The sad part is I'm kind of relieved they at least got 1 run out of that.

    The Bulls did something.

That was a really terrific play by Dansby. This inning could be going much worse right now if not for defense.
  8. Andy
    Double post? (Just kidding)
  9. Andy
Definitely overused, the Cubs were going out of their way to be careful with him but it seems anecdotally like he's pitched a fair bit these days.
  10. Andy
Just not allowed to be easy.
  11. Andy
Getting paid back for some of our terrible batted-ball luck this inning.
  12. Andy
He's the guy I would try. At least let him suck for a bit (if that's what will happen) and give Neris a mental break if nothing else
  13. Andy
We are seeing in real time what would've happened if Theo hadn't hit a bunch of grand slam home runs with his tank trades and draft picks
  14. Andy
Ross would've taken horsefeathers Neris out of the closer role by now
  15. Andy
Lmao that's the worst strike call in years
  16. Andy
Our genius manager continues to put the worst reliever on the team in the closer role just because he's old.

If I had $30 I'd go watch Happ's podcast after that

You're supposed to wait for TT to make me look stupid
  19. Andy
That's the kind of decisive and aggressive swing I feel like we've been missing of late. Well done Seiya
  20. Andy
Yes, but at least hardly any of them strike guys out at a high rate for relievers
  21. Andy
Wesneski giving up home runs left and right or being terrified to throw a strike, choose your adventure
  22. Andy
Two pitches this time for Wesneski, wonder if he's given up the tying homer on that exact pitch of an inning before
  23. Andy
Well that is better. Michael Busch is by a long way my favorite position player at the moment
  24. Andy
Seen 2 Cubs hit in this one - base hit, double play. That's about right

Morel's results have been bad, all his peripherals indicate he should be really good. I'm actually not annoyed with him at all, he's been spectacularly unlucky to a degree I can't recall seeing from a Cub ever.
