I'm sure you aren't disagreeing but that's a good thing. Neutering those crazy high picks is about the only available mechanism available to stop from embarrassments like what the Astros and Orioles (and Cubs, to be fair) did last decade.
Lonzo will not come back 100%, it is far more likely he never plays another minute in the NBA than he comes back and is remotely productive. The Bulls should've looked at him that way each of the last 2 offseasons and acted accordingly.
I might be able to get used to how terrible these stupid uniforms are if the MLB.TV ads didn't keep popping up with highlights from last year reminding me that they used to look fine
First time watching live this season and the first half reminded me what a colossal disaster trading for Vucevic was. Not that the Bulls have done much to earn good fortune but it's quite a thing that he immediately became a godawful 3 point shooter when he got to Chicago.
I can't wait to force myself to watch snippets of the first round and get nothing out of it except hating the Celtics some more.
Nice to see Coby emerging as a real thing though.
They're not winning tomorrow anyway, so whether they win tonight is of little consequence. At this point we might have to just hope the lottery gods step in like with Derrick Rose and maybe this time the player will have functioning knees.
The only thing I can say in CCs defense is that we seem to pretty much have 2 surefire good relievers in Leiter and Alzolay. Everyone else is some degree of not fun (hopefully Keegan can be #3).
I wish the Cubs were great at extra innings for obvious reasons but also because I don't ever want to be accused of hating the stupid rules for any reason other than that the rules are stupid
