    That's what makes the hate so strong. If they make Bryant share the retirement with Grace like they did with Jenkins/Maddux, I'm going to be really annoyed. I still get irked by that stupid Jenkins/Maddux thing. Why would that one irk you? Because Maddux' numbers in Chicago alone weren't even close to meriting number retirement and we were obviously kissing his ass because of the fact we let him get away.

    Would Russell and Bryant on the same day have been too much? Am I crazy to think they're gonna try to keep Russell down long enough to avoid super two? Maybe not crazy, but I doubt it. The Cubs just moved Russell to 2B in the minors, and similar moves with Baez and Alcantara took place just a few weeks prior to a call-up. If Russell handles 2B okay, wouldn't be surprised to see him by Memorial Day.

    Deno is back, apparently. Bench just got a lil stronger. Ramirez to DL to make room, which sucks.

    Sweet baby Jesus, that lineup looks amazing. In a few weeks, swap in Russell for Herrera and put him in Castillo's spot in the order and that is one nasty-ass lineup.

    I think the cheapest one is around $90 for the year. 130 for premium, which is good on just about any device. Best deal in sports fandom if you ask me.

    I drove to see the 07 NLC clincher at Cincinnati. I didn't do anything else there but didn't feel like I was missing anything, either.

    Was that the game Soriano led off the bottom of the 1st with a homer and it ended 1-0? That was actually a fun game if only for the novelty.

    Spent a weekend in Cleveland a few years ago and had a pretty good time. I'm guessing there are far worse cities in MLB, though I've only been to a few so I have little frame of reference.

    Played this game in college on XBox for hours against guys on my floor. is that the one with don't look at me that wayyyy, it was an honest mistaaake or he rocks his iroc-z, he rocks it well...something something finger tapping yeah van halen is the man? Yes it is. The MVP mod soundtracks are pretty bad though. They have horrible selections, though I'm assuming it's comprised of song selections from each of the contributors rather than a moderator of good taste. It';s not that the songs are bad, per se, but the original MVP games, somehow, always picked really good songs that seemed to fit well with the feel of the game. The MVP 14 mod was basically a bunch of EDM and dubstep and like a Bonnie Raitt track thrown in there or something. Tessie, enough said McGravy shouted. Or something like that. Tessie is a karaoke bar staple when my best man and I get together. All those songs are terrific. I have most on my phone.
