I no longer have any problem at all with the White Sox, but I really hated that team. In particular it drove me insane that Neal Cotts, Cliff Politte and Dustin Hermanson combined to give them what amounted to a peak-Pedro type season, and then 2 years later Politte and Hermanson were out of baseball and Cotts was sucking butt for the Cubs

Nothing like a bullpen day in game 1 of a doubleheader with a guy fresh off the IL going in game 2. He was out at first though.

You guys are lucky. I've been to 3 current parks - Wrigley, GABP and Guaranteed Rate. Apparently my mom took me to a game at Cleveland Municipal when I was a baby (I was born in a suburb but we moved when I was 1). That's it. Guaranteed Rate was better than I thought it would be (getting cheap club seats helped), GABP was fine but unremarkable, Wrigley is Wrigley.

Alternatively they might all be as good right now as they will ever be. It's not like we Cubs fans don't have firsthand knowledge of that possibility.

It feels pretty clear that AKME are giving up on this 'hover between 6-10' stuff and have decided to rebuild. They probably got spurred into it (no pun intended) by the fact that next year's first-rounder is top-10 protected and otherwise goes to San Antonio because of the DeMar trade.

I'm the first to complain about luck but we're doing it every day. Either we're the most spectacularly unlucky team in MLB history or we just suck and you notice bad luck a lot more when you suck
