  1. So what song is it then that Rizzo used there? I thought that was Starlin's old song. (Carrying over from last night)
  2. He's calling you racist. There are those for whom it's not a good day until they've called something or someone racist.
  3. And miss the most fun part? October is going to turn me into a blubbering mess. This is the part we enjoy.
  4. The incessant whining about the complaints in game threads (most of which appear to me to be tongue in cheek anyway) is far more annoying to me than any complaints themselves.
  5. Yeah with the Cubs scuffling like they are now there's just no way to be patient with a guy like Soler, who has a 12% walk rate and a ridiculous low babip. La Stella is spraying laser beams everywhere, I think we can ride that out for a while and come back to Soler when it inevitably slows down. It's not going to kill him.
  6. Good to see Heyward back. Hopefully he's close to 100% now and is ready to unleash some line shots on top of his awesome fielding.
  7. Yes and he used Starlin's music today too you sure? only other song i remember was intoxicated by martin solveig & gta. guess i could've missed it. First AB today. I was listening on audio at the time but it was easily distinguishable.
  8. The first home game he used Starlin's walk up music and I really hoped he'd just continue with it He changes it up every AB. T-swift is his 3rd ab song i think. Yes and he used Starlin's music today too
  9. A few pages old, but not even close. He's been doing it almost all year
  10. Probably a good thing since we have Hendricks going and Ross doesn't give up dongs anyway.
  11. It's pretty nuts that things have gone badly enough that we're running Ryan Kalish and Tim Federowicz out for a non-getaway day game against the 2nd-best team in the league, and yet we're still where we are right now.
  12. Sadahev Sharma also said something about wanting to see the Cubs face a team with a great rotation and a great pen (which, aside from Papelbon, they'll be doing this weekend, but whatever), and said it would happen against the White Sox. I think he did that just to kiss the Sox fans' asses.
  13. His voice sounds like that of a whiz kid Zuckerberg/Silicon Valley type to me.
  14. Niese is just the guy to awaken Soler's dong-rage.
  15. what drives me more crazy is the arbitrary nature of the notifications on the likes. i have no idea why certain ones notify me and most don't. I get notifications every time, I think. But I also get far fewer likes than you.
  16. maddon says he's not playing tonight To piggyback on that, we're facing a lefty, he shouldn't play whether the wrist hurts or not.
  17. Is this implying that the Cubs fans are bandwagoners? If so, that's an awfully rich claim on a night when the paid attendance was 18,000 last night. When is the last time the Cubs had a paid attendance of 18,000? The 80s? Probably at some point in the late 90s (wasn't the Wood 20K game a sparsely attended one?), but your point is well-made nonetheless.
  18. I haven't seen this. Their little report to determine what their best course of action playoff-wise said that would be their best option, but I don't know that they've said they're going to act on it.
  19. The delay in exchange for Len and JD is a trade off I make every time who is in ESPN's booth tonight? they have a lot of people i don't mind. I know it's not Len and JD.
