  1. I just want Joe to subtweet the crap out of the Reds postgame. "You know, I understand they were upset. Their season has been over for months and they lost three times in a row to a better team."
  2. The Reds thought they could run on Willson. That's cute.
  3. Hendricks had 110 pitches after 6 and is still going.
  4. I'm not sure why Hendricks took the AB other than to try and give as many days the whole day as possible, but a hell of a squeeze.
  5. I don't think the FO is trying to turn Javy into a high-walks guy, as they seemed to try with Castro. I think they just want him to learn not to swing at pitches that aren't even close. I don't know if that's teachable either, but it's not a dramatic shift in approach.
  6. Slow grounder to 2B, Javy charged it hard, lunged to make the tag on Votto, did a 270 degree spin and while going down threw a strike to Rizzo to get the guy at first. Yeah, I forgot to mention the 270-degree spin.
  7. Somehow managed to tag the runner going past him on a grounder and throw the hitter out at 1st basically in one motion.
  8. Picture the Schwarber/Fowler play, except instead of a collision it was the ball deflecting off the CF and hitting Hamilton in the head.
  9. Boy, right in the side of the head. That's rough.
  10. Javy pimped the living horsefeathers out of that. Haha
  11. I'm now rooting for the no-hitter by the Reds pen. Why not.
  12. Zobrist will never jump that high again in his life
  13. 7 hitless against the worst pen in history
  14. Nice inning Edwards. That pitch to strike out Phillips was nifty.
  15. The difference between those 2 at the plate at this point is negligible. Don't get that move at all
  16. That Javy at bat was deplorable.
  17. I would've declared a fatwa on Hamilton if he'd won the game there
  18. I mean, Almora is probably the guy to go down whenever someone is ready next (unless we get rid of Coghlan for some reason), so it's not totally nuts. That said, I didn't and don't blame him one bit for that play, it was spectacularly awful luck and he still nearly made it to 3rd.
  19. I saw that happen a couple of years ago in a HS game as well.
  20. That Bryzzo sequence was top 3 half-minutes of the season.
  21. You were correct. The other guy wasn't
  22. Just IBB him every time and save me the annoyance of watching him inexplicably work 9 pitch walks and get infield hits every time
