  1. On the one hand, I would think it's probably harder to make adjustments when MLB games are being played, but then Fowler made adjustments last year and turned into a terrifying force of nature for the next 11 months. So I don't know why we couldn't.
  2. Michigan is taking a $2M bath on the Arkansas series, didn't manage to get the even-year game at home (so they have to go to Columbus and South Bend in the same year again) and even allowed their home game to be played in late October in 2019, against the B1G's general doctrine of 'not distracting from league games'. (Presumably ND wanted it there because they're already playing @ Georgia in Sept. 2019.) I like all those things, of course, but it's interesting that UM seems to have bent over backwards to this degree to make this work. Funnily enough, Arkansas is now stuck without a 2018 and '19 Power 5 non-conference opponent to satisfy the SEC requirement to play one. Can't believe they're thrilled with the timing of this.
  3. And I say that as someone with absolutely no love lost for either Rondo or Wade
  4. The Bulls are far more interesting to me now than they ever were last year and arguably more than at any time since Rose's knee exploded.
  5. No they can't. They haven't been very good behind and late. The Travis Wood game in Milwaukee was the last time we won a game after trailing at the end of the 6th, I believe.
  6. Yep, there was roughly a 250% chance that runner was going to score after the ball somehow got by Addison
  7. Haha this is getting horsefeathering ridiculous with these umpires. I guess the best player in the whole horsefeathering league can't get a call
  8. And Montero is robbed, because we're not playing poorly enough without getting some horsefeathers luck
  9. throw to Willson, hopefully He might as well get used to doing that.
  10. Leicester also had a microscopic payroll. There's a reason they were 5000/1 shots. It's not like Leicester went out and signed the soccer Durant last winter.
  11. If you're going to talk outfield collision, have it be with the not-Cubs player, man
  12. That's amazing.
  13. I really should've known better than to shut it off at 5-0 against the Reds
  14. There were 3 balls in that AB that were better than the one that dumb horsefeathers called a strike.
  15. LMAO that was the worst called strike call in history.
  16. Bruce really should have made a backhanded no-look facing-the-wall catch on that play, poor work by him
  17. Oh, Billy Hamilton got on base, that's different
  18. Lackey's wife served food to the homeless, kept the house looking spotless and helped do the taxes
  19. Don't tell that to all the meatheaded Mets fans who felt the 2015 NLCS invalidated the regular-season results, yet also somehow think this last weekend cements that the Mets will beat the Cubs in October.
  20. This is the real life equivalent of how every time I have a fantasy pitcher outperforming his peripherals he immediately gets crushed the next start, only with every single player on our roster
  21. horsefeathering win some games. I know we're good and I want to horsefeathering see it for once
