    Seems to me like it should be a double and 2-base error because the ball bounded back into the field of play first, but I can see the argument either way.

    If I had to bring one college rule over to the NBA, it would be making the "bonus" 1-and-1, and then super bonus for 2 shots. Not sure how they'd make that work with the NBA being quarters vs. halves in college but I love 1-and-1's I love 1-and-1's too, but I'm actually ok with the 2 shots in the NBA, largely because as you note there's no easy way to change it.

    I loathe it. You shouldn't be able to time-warp the ball to halfcourt just because it's more exciting.

    I imagine that's what they will do - strong-arm the Sugar Bowl into accepting a New Year's Eve date in non-semifinal years. Another possible idea, though less likely, would be to just move the New Year's Eve semifinals to the nearest Saturday. If they're going to make the change, I'd much prefer games on New Year's Day.

    Saw his quote in a story about the Nats. Cubs hate is strong around the MLB Ha, ironic considering the Nationals were crowned 2015 World Series champions last March. But that's fine.

    Sucks that of the bullpen castoffs from last year l, the one we let go is on the All Star team and the 2 we kept were Cahill and Richard Relievers are Theo's kryptonite.
