    According to the Pirate announcers they owned Jake in a Cubs uniform... Between the Pirates, Reds and Cardinals I think the NL Central has 3 of the worst 5-7 or so worst broadcast teams in MLB but the Cubs and Brewers might be 1 and 2 in terms of the best. I'd go so far as to say they're the worst 3 now that Hawk is essentially gone.

    It wasn’t so much ignoring the deke attempt as it was more knowing Dexter doesn’t throw much better than a middle schooler Well he doesn't, but with 1 out and KB already rounding second, Dexter could've tossed the ball granny-style for a double play had he somehow caught it. Kris knew he wouldn't.

    KB just completely ignored Dex's deke attempt because he knew the ball was getting down and advanced to third. He's just spectacular.

    i was super pissed off at my wife about something during that game, and i was watching it on my laptop in the kitchen while cooking when he hit that granny. it officially ended the fighte That hit was the moment when I realized this really could happen. Not your fight ending, but the drought. I was pretty damn sure we were winning that series when the ball dropped between Naquin and Chisenhall.

    If we weren't carrying 13 effing pitchers for no good reason at all I guarantee Almora hits for Heyward. Instead Joe just got snookered by Matheny.
