  3. Either Rizzo is a poor typist or he's enjoying his Friday night, and I think I know which one it is
  4. Oh no, have to settle for the literally unstoppable team you already had, I guess Unstoppable? Come on now. We’re not actually upset about losing Dez because you can’t really miss something you never had. It’s just “sweet we got Dez...oh...damn. Oh well” I'm extremely salty about Carolina being probably the 3rd best team in the NFC and yet already having pretty much locked in a road playoff game already
  5. Oh no, have to settle for the literally unstoppable team you already had, I guess
  6. They would if they believe he's permanently broken and want to get KB level assets for a player who's never going to be KB again. If they don't think that, then there's absolutely no reason to trade a player of his caliber right now unless they're getting someone they believe to be better right this minute in return.
  7. You're not. There's absolutely nothing in there that's news. The Cubs aren't horsefeathering trading Bryant. What a stupid article.
  8. Is everyone scared off by his asking price or are the teams using the same strategy to try and lower his price? My money is on option 2. It probably isn't actual collusion, but this is what collusion would look like.
  9. Ian Book out for ND with a rib injury (some sources saying kidney injury), Brandon Wimbush in for this week and possibly more.
  10. It's totally a shot at Joe. The timing is curious, but there could be a million reasons for that. I was as pissed off at Hickey as anyone the first half of the season (I have the posts to prove it), but outside of Chatwood's utter collapse, which probably wasn't his fault, on balance he seemed fine. But if all these changes energize the team somehow, that's ok too.
  11. Yeah but 1 slip up before the playoffs would have no affect on their playoff status unless its to Georgia in the SEC title game, and even then it has more effect on teams like Michigan/OSU than it does Bama. Alabama has to lose twice to be out. They'll be rated ahead of any other 1-loss team.
  12. 13. Yeah, I only included them because they'd likely be the team that has to beat Michigan. But yeah, rather see UCF try to "Boise St" their way into an upset. OU and Georgia would have to have everything go perfectly to give Bama a fight, they are so horsefeathering good. Alabama would score 70 against Oklahoma. Rude to assume Nick Saban would take his team off the field after 25 minutes of play.
  14. ND was so mad about being ranked behind LSU, largely for not killing weaker competition, that they immediately sucked against weak competition. The committee is gonna put Michigan ahead of ND even if they win this game
  15. I'm impressed any of you noticed that. I was too caught up in the moment to see anything until the replay.
  16. I love that costume plan, and it was very shrewd of Beltran to go Puerto Rico rather than pick any of his employers.
  17. Those are pretty nice, but the regular uniforms are better. That's a Nike complaint, not a Bulls one, though.
  18. I'm a little leery of what it might mean if ND loses a game (which I still think they're going to do at some point in November), but otherwise it's whatever. LSU will either be out of the race or be very deserving of their spot this time next week.
  19. Updated with the new playoff rankings, including the 'well, we have to show how different we are from the polls' move of putting unbeaten ND with a win over #5 behind 1-loss LSU with a win over #6.
  20. Will update Tuesday night this week and every week with committee rankings. 21. All this may be true, but it's worth noting Wisconsin sucks. They've beaten nobody and lost at home to BYU.
  22. Not trying to defend the Bulls medical staff, but it's very possible to continue playing with a strained MCL/ACL and not notice it or have it affect you. Some players continue playing with a torn MCL/ACL if the inflammation and pain isn't too bad. It sucks that he's out now because Cam Payne is horsefeathering terrible, but I want the Bulls to lose. We need to emulate "The Process" and tank -- at least for one more year. Yeah, it sucks that it happened to a supposed 'core' player as opposed to someone less important to the future, but the Bulls losing another year is probably for the best. Signing Parker might have been a nice stealth tanking move in that regard even if it wasn't intended that way.
  23. I don't know for sure, but I think a structure like that, actually is possible. At any rate, the general structure is exactly what we need to be going for...... Wasn't it just reported that Wainwright's STL contract is a no-go because a guy can't make less than 75 percent of what he made the prior year if he stays on the same team without going to free agency or something like that?
  24. I'm cool with either team winning. I'd probably narrowly prefer Boston because they're young and pretty fun, but for whatever longtime fans LA has, getting their first title in 30 years would be kinda cool too.
