  1. I love that costume plan, and it was very shrewd of Beltran to go Puerto Rico rather than pick any of his employers.
  2. Those are pretty nice, but the regular uniforms are better. That's a Nike complaint, not a Bulls one, though.
  3. I'm a little leery of what it might mean if ND loses a game (which I still think they're going to do at some point in November), but otherwise it's whatever. LSU will either be out of the race or be very deserving of their spot this time next week.
  4. Updated with the new playoff rankings, including the 'well, we have to show how different we are from the polls' move of putting unbeaten ND with a win over #5 behind 1-loss LSU with a win over #6.
  5. Will update Tuesday night this week and every week with committee rankings. 6. All this may be true, but it's worth noting Wisconsin sucks. They've beaten nobody and lost at home to BYU.
  7. Not trying to defend the Bulls medical staff, but it's very possible to continue playing with a strained MCL/ACL and not notice it or have it affect you. Some players continue playing with a torn MCL/ACL if the inflammation and pain isn't too bad. It sucks that he's out now because Cam Payne is horsefeathering terrible, but I want the Bulls to lose. We need to emulate "The Process" and tank -- at least for one more year. Yeah, it sucks that it happened to a supposed 'core' player as opposed to someone less important to the future, but the Bulls losing another year is probably for the best. Signing Parker might have been a nice stealth tanking move in that regard even if it wasn't intended that way.
  8. I don't know for sure, but I think a structure like that, actually is possible. At any rate, the general structure is exactly what we need to be going for...... Wasn't it just reported that Wainwright's STL contract is a no-go because a guy can't make less than 75 percent of what he made the prior year if he stays on the same team without going to free agency or something like that?
  9. I'm cool with either team winning. I'd probably narrowly prefer Boston because they're young and pretty fun, but for whatever longtime fans LA has, getting their first title in 30 years would be kinda cool too.
  10. Too bad ESPN got their claws in Amin first, but hopefully he'll be happy doing the fill-in stuff for Funk when available. He's just great at everything.
  11. I imagine it'd been a while since a team played the first 3 quarters as badly as Carolina did today, then won the game.
  12. 13. In 2 weeks we've gone from 'what if 5 teams win out' to wondering if this is the year a 2 loss team gets in.
  14. Someday Alabama will be in a close game again. Probably. Maybe.
  15. Kris Dunn was out tonight for personal reasons His gf had a kid Should've known better than to let her near Addison Russell
  16. The hangover proof Astros won precisely zero more postseason games than the team they were so much better than. Oh, darn.
  17. Kris Dunn was out tonight for personal reasons
  18. I find it amusing they think they have any remote chance for either one.
  19. That's kind of what he did say at first. But then someone asked him if he'd read the blog post, and...
  20. I saw this too, at this point outside of general hatred of Boston everything (which I completely respect) I can't imagine why anyone wants the Astros to win.
  21. Bulls calling a 1 pm presser tomorrow for a 'business, not basketball' announcement per KC Johnson. Guessing they've sold the jersey ad.
  22. 23. Michigan might be really good. They'd better be because it might be ND's only ranked win when it's all over. Granted if they keep playing like today (what the hell is it with Pitt against unbeaten ND teams) it won't matter.
  24. That was weird. I would've waited a couple more innings to see if it turned into a blowout. But I guess they won by 1 so it worked.
