    Jesse tweeted he heard it but had to confirm it. Surprised he didn’t wildly claim Kimbrel is mentally weak or soft yet, since that’s what he would’ve done to Darvish last year. Hopefully that idiot is wrong. It sounds like he believes its true, just waiting for official confirmation so he can report as fact. This would suck Between Morrow, Strop and apparently this I've forgotten what it's like to not have to worry about whether we have a closer who can, you know, pitch in games.

    I'm utterly convinced the Astros are somehow cheating. Trevor Bauer isn't anyone's favorite person but he's been on this train for a long time and I am an absolute truther on this.

    The Cobs adopted their Home Cubs persona again and surely all is well now. Now the real question is, can they actually hit for 2 days in a row? If this keeps up, we're going to have to ask what exactly the front office did to finally get the offense going. To try to stop them, Milwaukee will send out Gio "Mad Dog" Gonzalez. But our man Cole Hamels knows how to handle that. Go Cobs

    The Cobs return home where hopefully they can go on a run and become the Cubs again. Kyle Schwarber gave Zach Davies a swirly and took his lunch money just 5 days ago, so it would logically follow that this team won't get more than 3 hits off him in this game. This team needs an infusion of power. Dare I say, a lot of power. Dare I say... 1.21 jigowatts of power.
