  1. Searched Ricky Gutierrez, 2nd result is the crazy rundown play vs. Colorado. Yeah, I'm down with this.
  2. Louisiana Tech gets COVID and their game with Baylor this Saturday is postponed.
  3. I should be pissed that the team's 'showcase' offensive addition lasted less than a week before being shipped to the minors, but I'm just glad they got rid of him. At least Hamilton has an actual skill.
  4. Tulsa vs Oklahoma State postponed a week because Tulsa had a COVID-related practice disruption. Guess we can get used to this.
  5. Pitiful defense by St. Louis helping out some too. And Hendricks has been very good.
  6. 200% chance Schwarber clanking that Bader line drive results in a run or 3, isn't there
  7. You know what's pathetic is I'm not even that mad at Rizzo GIDPing there, at least we scored.
  8. I went for the reverse jinx today and picked up Oviedo for the start. If the Cubs are going to keep sucking they'll have to benefit my fantasy team to do it.
  9. did the cubs have a bunch of doubleheaders in that stretch? i always thought people overstated what the cubs had to go through at the end of that season. they played a bunch of days in a row, big whoop Not many doubleheaders. I think it was 45 games in 44 days or something? Or maybe even the other way around.
  10. Heyward getting COVID would be a terrible capper to this few weeks of suck.
  11. The most interesting thing about these stretches of incompetence is that you can almost tell if they don't score for like 2 innings then they're not scoring the rest of the game
  12. This ump has called at least 5 STL pitches off the plate as strikes.
  13. I'm not sure why "essentially buying" a draft pick was fine when the Browns traded for Brock Osweiler but not here. I guess it's more blatant, but still.
  14. St. Louis never ever losing doubleheaders and often sweeping them could be a problem They got swept by the Pirates 9 days ago. I knew someone would find one
  15. St. Louis never ever losing doubleheaders and often sweeping them could be a problem
  16. Win the damn game please
  17. BS strike 2 call to Vic, although if Nico had hit that ball with him on base it's probably a DP I guess.
  18. It's kind of incredible that we're somewhat comfortably in first place with Bryant, Rizzo and Javy all being aggressively horsefeathering useless
  19. And naturally STL tries to help us and we won't take it.
  20. This is ridiculous. And did I hear Len say STL is batting .500 with the bases loaded? Least surprising thing ever.
  21. He's alright. Still a downgrade from just Len and JD (although I might just hate 3 man booths on principle), but I can deal with him being in there.
  22. I would say it's insane to consider since the season has technically started already but I guess that didn't stop MLB. I don't think it's happening this year, though.
  23. SMU vs TCU, scheduled for next Friday, has been postponed because of positive COVID tests in the TCU program.
  24. The Pac-12 has a deal with a company called Quidel to provide rapid-response COVID tests and are hopeful this means they can return to sports action before Jan. 1. Anecdotally, it sort of feels like things like this are why the B1G and Pac-12 should've postponed a few weeks like the SEC did. If we've learned anything in 2020, it's that things can change on a dime.
  25. I keep hearing about how good a hitter Jose Martinez is and yet he keeps directing ground balls directly to the shortstop. I'm officially on Miles/Descalso Former STL Double Agent Watch
