  1. Big win for me to go to 13-4 :D Thanks Gophers for remembering which team you are
  2. C'mon Gophers, you just need to suck for one more offensive possession.
  3. Ball State gets to be clobbered by IU tomorrow. The MAC season will seem like a cakewalk compared to OOC play.
  4. TT's scored two TDs in 7 minutes and now trail 38-28 with just under 8 minutes left.
  5. Holy Avatars Batman!
  6. Bulls on fire. I'm sick and damn tired of losing to Cleveland. Let's beat the ever living crap out of them tomorrow.
  7. Looked like I was living the charmed life after OSU and UK pulled off wins for my picks, but Tx Tech utterly self-destructing and Purdue remembering that they don't play defense looks like it's going to have some major effects on my picks (I had 28 on the Red Raiders and 17 on the Boilers).
  8. I find it near impossible to believe that, short of complete bombouts by all our major acquisitions, that this offseason will overtake last for the worst.
  9. 04/03 - 10/01 AB R H 2B 3B HR TB RBI BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS Cedeno 534 51 131 18 7 6 181 41 17 109 0.245 0.271 0.339 0.610 Perez 236 27 60 13 1 2 81 24 5 21 0.254 0.266 0.343 0.610 I think they were equally bad, no? Not that it makes much of a difference, but based on that, I think Neifi's OPS is .609. Probably rounding abnormalities (i.e. Neifi's OBP would be .2663 or something and his SLG is .3433, therefore adding up to .6096 and being rounded to .610).
  10. I don't like either very much (the best they ever get out of me is a snort or light chuckle), but I prefer Colbert.
  11. That rule change only affects the top three records in the conference. Ah. Well that changes things a bit. The Bulls would own the Raps in the playoffs.
  12. Reports are that Jake Delhomme may finally return this week. We'll need him to have a prayer against the Saints, even if they aren't going to be going all out.
  13. Actually, the Bulls are the 5 seed right now, despite having the 3rd best winning percentage. If the playoffs started today they'd be playing the Cavaliers, and the Cavs would have HCA. It's such a stupid rule that the division winners get the top 3 seeds. They don't anymore. The rules have changed. The division winners still get in automatically, but they're now seeded by record. Stern changed the rule after the "let's tank to face Memphis rather than the Clippers" fiasco last year.
  14. ND clobbers Rider 101-51. It's so much fun to watch them play.
  15. After that video I'm firmly convinced that I want to face the Heat in the playoffs. We'd sweep their asses out of town and humiliate James Posey in the process. FYI, Bulls are currently the 3-seed, having passed Orlando this week. If the playoffs started today they'd face Indiana, and the Central would once again have all 5 of its teams in the playoffs. (Every team in the Central has a better record than anyone in the Atlantic and 3 of the 5 teams in the Southeast.)
  16. I'm gonna move to 10-2 today. I'm clearly an unstoppable force at picking completely meaningless college football games between subpar teams! :)
  17. Bunch of points for me on TT, Purdue, Cal and Rutgers.
  18. Go stadium collapse! How are the Eagles doing this year? bump  Best one-month-later comeback ever
  19. UCLA ends my 5-game bowl pick win streak (and, I'm sure, many others).
  20. James Posey and the Miami Heat save Wade and Shaq are the most distasteful team I've seen in a major sport in my memory.
  21. 79 receptions, 1,063 yards, 12 tds. yeah, he can't catch. He also has 1.5 times the drops of any other receiver in the game of football.
  22. MAC evens their record at 1-1, and I up my record to 7-1 :D
  23. I'm going to be working Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, so I won't be able to keep track of Carolina's playoff fate (needing a Giants loss Sat night followed by a Packers loss and a win on Sunday). Praying for a miracle.
  24. The Packers are vying for a playoff spot. Jacksonville/KC features two teams are going for a playoff spot. And there are many other games where one team is going for a playoff spot, and their opponent might actually leave the starters in well into the 2nd half.
  25. Packers/Bears moved to SNF. My mind is boggled. Surely they could've found two teams vying for a playoff spot?
