  1. Murton's not a ginger kid. He's a daywalker.
  2. What an accomplishment. Contract extensions for everybody.Boo for having cardinals of any sort in your sig As a Ball State student I wholeheartedly disagree! Me too, Ball State University Class of 1995 right here. Needing to get myself down to the Heorot sometime soon. The Fickle Peach is better.
  3. The Associated Press is reporting that the Red Sox have trade Josh Bard to the San Diego Padres for Mirabelli. The reason? Bard can't catch Tim Wakefield's knuckleball. He has 10 passed balls in Wakefield's four starts. Indiana's best newspaper has the AP story
  4. I don't. I'd die.
  5. You can be our Eckstein. 5'8", 140 lbs. I believe I win the position as "scrappy" middle infielder. Plus I was a switch hitting untility player and back-up catcher in high school until I broke my wrist. Really I was a lot like Macias a crappy hitter, and could field any position on the diamond poorly.
  6. He'll get injuried... again.
  7. Terry Mulholland and Turk Wendell
  8. I didn't vote because I don't have faith in Hendry, but I do think he has a game plan. It's just the wrong one.
  9. Houston... Biggio and Bagwell deserve rings.
  10. Then why hasn't Tejada failed?
  11. Its not because he's 6. Its because hes male. I'm 21 and I still like things that go boom. When I leave the office after a bad/long day I always tell them not to call me unless something blows up.
  12. I was against resigning Rusch last offseason and I'm against it this offseason.
  13. If not Grennberg then perhaps Bacon. It would be nice to have some speed on the bench. That's what Neifi and Gremlin are for.
  14. I thought Modzilla was an "it" not a "he" or a "she."
  15. Interesting; I lived in LaFollette during my four years there as an undergraduate. That is interesting. Are they just going to get rid of LaFollete. That takes up a pretty good amount of land. Also how are they fixing McKinley? Will the road finally go around the tower they built? That looked ridiculous the way it was set up. Also is the new parking garage on Calvert? I had some friends who lived there and our last year there BSU forced them to move out and tore down their house. Always wondered what ended up going there. I'm not sure about the plans for LaFollette's replacement, but one of the new dorms is currently under construction. I don't know where they're going to put the other one. McKinley is being replaced in three stages. Stage one (from Neeley Ave. to Riverside Ave.) is complete the road now splits around around the bell tower and has a median down the middle with trees and landscaping. The new garage is partially on Calvert. The new music buidling also rests on Calvert. And NC I'm writing this post from LaFollette, or as it is more commonly called "the ghetto." These webcams show most of the new construction. http://www.bsu.edu/up/article/0,,33960--,00.html
  16. When I was down there BSU had the longest losing streak in the nation! That is one pathetic FB team. I do remember one game when the goal posts got tore down, but I can't remember for the life of me who they played (maybe Toledo). I know the posts ended up in the Duck Pond, and someone got hit by them and went into a coma, which lead to a lawsuit agains BSU. ANyway the point was BSU football sucks. I just reread your post, they scored 31 points  We were all impressed/shocked by the score. The stadium to the duck pond is a pretty long way to carry a goal post. I get tired just lugging my camera gear back from the stadium. NC, the stadium plans are beautiful, but one has to wonder where the money is coming from. In the last few years the university has built a new building for the art and journalism departments (where I'm writing from now), and a new music building for the music department (the accostics in the new performance hall are so good that you can hear a program drop to the floor form the other side of the hall) and a very nice parking garage (I know it sounds stupid but for some reason I think it is the nicest looking structure on campus). Their also completely redoing McKinley Avenue (with help from INDOT), their building another telecom. building (sadly it won't be named after Dave), and two new dorms (one to replace the sinking LaFollette Complex). Anyway back to BSU football, the lights at the stadium are nice, but they still only schedual one or two night home games a year. It seems like a waste of money to me, but what do I know. I'm just a poor student.
  17. Got back from the Ball State-Bowling Green State game. BIG shock... Ball State lost 40-31. Which shocked all of us. I don't think I talked to anyone who expected us to score more than 14 points. We were even playing without about 38 of our players who were lost in the textbook scandle.
  18. Apparently you've never had Furcal on a fantasy team, because he most certainly is a very steaky hitter.
  19. Might I just say that I supported this decision before the ink was dry on Dusty's contract.
  20. No its not. Its on the same track it has always been. Brilliant when healthy, but the health doesn't come often.
  21. Who cares there's no way it could be as good as NSBB.
