  1. This Browns game is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Close play after close play going against them. 27-23 Denver leads. This is sickening.
  2. Seriously, guys? A Thursday-night game can't have its own thread? It was in the game-threads to begin with, moved to social, and now merged. Was it that much of a nuisance? Anyway... Cutler with a 93 yard pass to Royal. 23-20 Browns.
  3. Ahh. I have NFL Network, but it is obviously also on local TV. Brady is playing very well. 11/15 - 102 Yards - 2 TD 0 INT at the half. But, Denver's defense is absolutely horrid. They've given up 93 yards on 14 carries to Jamal Lewis and Jerome Harrison. Cleveland's D has given up a lot of yards, but has done a good job on 3rd down plays and was given a gift on a misread by Cutler/Marshall. 20-10 Cleveland at the half.
  4. AKA The Brady Quinn Game. Go browns! :)
  5. I've heard the Lakers really like Kirk Hinrich. The only thing they really have to trade to matchup salary wise though is Lamar Odom or some crappy package involving Chris Mihm and Luke Walton. Chris Mihm and Luke Walton for Hinrich was be a fantastic trade for the Bulls in my opinion. Given, I have no idea how the salaries would work out.
  6. Kind of an ugly game for Chicago tonight. It's the first time I've seen them this year, and they just confuse me. As the ESPN announcers pointed out, I don't have any idea what they're trying to do. They go with a small lineup, but don't push the tempo. Rose is a stud, but he is too young and inexperienced to lead a team in a half court offense when they have virtually no post-game (Cleveland has above-average post defenders, so it was even further exploited tonight), no size, and what looked like no plan (coach's fault). It definitely seems like it would be a frustrating team to watch. I don't think it is a team that lacks talent, I think it's a team that lacks a plan that would put the talent they DO have to good use.
  7. The Cavs looked fantastic against Dallas the other night, I'm hoping they can keep it up.
  8. Go Brownies. :)
  9. The Browns/Redskins game is so sloppy, especially on the Browns side. No score at the half. But, no turnovers. Boring.

  12. Um, what? Define "productive."
  13. No thanks, we don't need anymore d-bags with Pi Kappa Alpha t-shirts walking around. what about that video really bothers you so much out of curiosity? I doesn't really bother me at all. I get drunk myself and have a good time. I'm just the guy who makes fun of the guy who gets sloppy drunk, falls down and Howry's himself. No offense, but it would suck to party with you... People who live in trailer parks tell me that all the time. Are you that much of a uptight human being? I think you're being fairly ridiculous.
  14. I think it's awesome. Screw being politically correct on every single interview. Get drunk and have fun.
  15. Thinking negatively about success in October hasn't worked out very well, either. I pick Derrek.
  16. If Kelly Shoppach ever plays a full season as a starter, he'll probably shatter this record.
  17. Quick, for tonight: Laveranues Coles or Vincent Jackson?
  18. Kurt Warner or Eli Manning?
  19. There has to be someone better you can pick up, right? I found Chris Johnson just sitting in free agency in my league. BTW, I have to start 3 of these: Braylon Edwards (lock) Anquan Boldin (lock) Deverey Henderson Laveranues Coles Patrick Crayton Coles is questionable to start this week and didn't do much last week. I kind of like Henderson as the sleeper with Colston out for New Orleans.
  20. Cliff Lee is a good baseball player.
  21. I guess it doesn't make much sense to me that most of the people in this thread want Lee out of the 3-hole, yet most are completely fine with Soriano batting leadoff.
  22. I'm confused as to why there is so much DLee hate, other than the obvious fact that his performance doesn't match his paycheck.
  23. i would have flipped if he was made to bunt. like i did when Derosa bunted. or like i did last night when soto bunted. Really? And you people call yourselves NL Baseball fans. Bunting Soriano to set it up for Theriot and Lee or bunting DeRosa for Whatever dreck they had after him are just horrible ideas. Taking the bat out of your best hitters so that worse hitters have a chance to drive in the runs is awful. It increases the chances of the "worse hitter" 10 fold, though. It makes the other team bring the infield in, and a medium to medium-deep fly wins the game. However, the chances of Alfonso making an out are 70%, despite him being a good hitter or not. I'll take my chances with the bunt. It's not a matter of the chances of Soriano making an out and that's it. It's the chances of none of Soriano, Theriot, or Lee getting on. Odds are Theriot draws the IBB there and then you have Derrek Lee up with the infield at DP distance. If it wasn't DLee I would continue to argue this point, but with Derek at the plate in that situation your logic is fairly sound. 8-)
  24. No and I've never really understood this. I get the strength of schedule argument, but if you really loathe a team, I can't imagine routing for them in any game. With the flak that the Big10 has had to take over the past few years, I root for all Big10 schools when they play out of conference too.
