  1. The one positive about Maddon is how much better he made me feel about Tito. What a poorly managed game all around. Kluber obviously didn't have it from the start. The homerun and loud outs should have been a huge indicator that Kluber didn't have it. Then, when he was completely losing it in the 4th and no one was warming up, I was in full panic mode. I have no idea how or why he brought him out to start the 5th, and the homerun he gave up only pissed me off more. Of course then you guys ended up scoring off of Miller and Shaw (although I didn't think Shaw was awful) so it probably didn't matter anyway. I'm just not sure how this is the same manager that yanked Tomlin after 4.2 2 hit, 1 walk innings in game 3. How do you manage safer in game 3 than game 7? I know that our options were limited, but it was pretty clear that Corey didn't have it from the get go. Luckily Maddon decided to over manage to the same fault that Tito under managed, and it was almost enough. Almost.
  2. You should have had your blowout win. Then I got my extras. But, you got your championship. I think you'll take it lol. Congrats. What a game. Just saw some Cleveland interviews. I truly hope your group gets one. I'm going to watch some tonight. I wasn't in the mood for glass half full horsefeathers last night.
  3. Hey, I'll be destroyed with a Cleveland loss, but I will be legitimately happy for you guys. The Cavs title brought me so, so much happiness. LBJ coming back, the Kevin Love narratives, golden state's perfect season, the unexpected comeback. It was the most amazing sporting memory I'll ever have. I want you guys to lose by a lot, but knowing a great fan base gets to feel that same thing will give me something to take solace in. And, if you guys don't win, it'll happen in this core's playing days. They're so good, and so fun to watch when you're not playing them (and they're hitting). Let's all go throw up and play extras tomorrow. Good luck! :hello: Honestly, I wish we were playing any other AL team. I've always liked Cleveland. And I hope you stick around here again. But EXTRAS? No. No man. No. I want a blowout win, but I'd legit rather get beat bad, than lose a nailbiter. Points moo though. Cuz we ain't losin'. You should have had your blowout win. Then I got my extras. But, you got your championship. I think you'll take it lol. Congrats.
  4. Congrats, guys. Maybe the best series/game in MLB history. Happy for you.
  5. I hope you endure the day well, but remember what's in store for you guys... image Hey, I'll be destroyed with a Cleveland loss, but I will be legitimately happy for you guys. 6. I'd say good luck. But I wouldn't mean it. But I do wish you guys a good nights sleep. Because that's a struggle for everyone of us. Haha, thanks man. I don't feel great about our chances, but I think losing the last two has caused understandable paranoia. A smooth first inning by Klubes and I'll go from doom and gloom back to fingernail biting. I feel like it will be a really close game regardless.
  7. Holy horsefeathers. Well, time to walk around in a blur for 20 hours. Good luck tomorrow, guys. Yikes.
  8. Who are you and why are you here? He's been here a long time. Indian fans like Mike are welcome here. Thanks homie. If it helps at all, I argue with fellow Indians fans on facebook about how awful chief wahoo is lol
  9. WHY IS DAVIS NOT IN. The outfielders don't trust Naquin at all lol
  10. CJ likely can't go back to back, so would prefer not to use him tonight. It's games 6-7 of the World Series. If there's ever a time for him to go back to back its now Umm. Really?
  11. I love this Fox "behind Joe and the catcher and the worst possible view" angle thing they're doing.
  12. Naquin is a horsefeathering joke. It's not time to match him up against righties if he can't hit a fastball, Tito. horsefeathers.
  13. I don't mind Cleveland, so I'm going to apologize in advance for the Cubs having to perform a Mola Ram on the collective heart of Indians fans. My best friend from high school is a huge big Cubs fan and introduced me to this board. We have joked about a Cubs/Indians World Series for a long time, but especially this year. Borderline upsetting that it happened. The team I would enjoy beating the least for a championship is the Cubs. And, the only way I wouldn't love the horsefeathers out of a Cubs championship is if they beat the Indians. Not as fun as I always imagined it might be.
  14. Francona can let Kluber go home and get a full night of sleep. Seriously.
  15. I've been wrong before. God dammit, I'm going to be a mess tomorrow.
  16. I think if Tomlin holds the Cubs to less base runners than close ups of his dad then the Indians win.
  17. yeah, he looked exactly like hendricks in that start against us. He was amazing. I think we can get to him though on such short rest. I hope. Well I don't think any Cleveland pitcher including Kluber in game 4, Miller or Allen have been as good as you guys probably think they are. They've had a ton of help from the Cubs. Honestly it's not about how Cleveland pitchers anymore. If the Cubs hit like they are capable of they can win. If the Cubs keep flailing at pitches outside the strike zone then they can lose to anyone. I don't think anyone outside of Kluber, Miller, or Allen are all that great. I just don't think it's a foregone conclusion that the Cubs should blow up Tomlin. I'd agree if you were talking about Bauer, though. Tomlin has a .809 WHIP over his last 42 IP, including the playoffs. His August was absolutely atrocious, but he pitched pretty well against both Toronto and Boston too. Again, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cubs hit him well, and I don't deny that the Cubs have pressed, but the "we beat ourselves" narrative is always annoying.
  18. I don't feel like Tomlin is as bad as you guys think he is- don't get me wrong, the Cubs lineup shouldn't get completely shut down by him, but he has been really, really good for 2 months now.
  19. God dammit. Great game and great series. I'm ok with winning it in Cleveland. :D
  20. Neither was strike three to Bryant Fair enough. But, that was our best chance. :(
  21. As a tribe fan, I don't feel great about Kluber today. And I feel way, way worse about Bauer the next day. Seriously, anyone else. I felt pretty confident in Tomlin tonight (although admittedly not 0 runs confident). He has been amazing for the past two months and had a really good season aside from a ridiculously bad 2ish WHIP August. I still don't feel confident about the series, but tonight put me back in 50/50 territory.
