Congrats to Illinois. They played a strong game and were clearly the better team. They didn't bring quite as many fans as I expected though, though they were pretty boisterous. Fun game, despite the result. Playing against a more talented team, Indiana couldn't afford many turnovers -- but, wow, did they shoot themselves in the foot with key turnovers. The Illini dominated the trenches, which is a recurring problem for IU over the years. Of IU's two best players, one had a great game (Tracy Porter) while another struggled, despite catching a TD pass (James Hardy). IU still has a strong shot at a bowl, but the ceiling is likely 7-5 now. Oh, finally, I said 34-21 Illini so I was close. Wish I would've been wrong.
