Not sure it was terrible. It was the wrong though. 4 different refs called it, so its not like it was a huge miss by someone. We have the benefit of slow motion replay, in real time it did look like a head shot. It was god awful. Not sure what replay you were looking at. It wasn't a headshot. It was a perfecty clean shoulder lead tackle with the ball still in play. Edit: I see what you're saying about how it looked in real time. When 4 flags fly in like that you know they're itchy about safeties lighting up WRs. But it was clean and they screwed up a pretty pivotal play.

Oregon is really doing a job of demonstrating why the spread is pretty lame sometimes. If your offense is struggling it'd be nice to be able to line up in an I and hand it off to your 240 pound back. Instead you have to run some 3 ball fake east-west BS just to get him the ball.

ESPN's really blowing the production on this one. Terrible camera angles, not catching a 2 point conversion live, and Davie and the play by play guy barely even calling the game.
