A bad offensive line will hold up better against a 3 step drop than a 5 or 7 step drop. That's the concern. Of course if your receivers are dumb/inexperienced and don't know how to read coverages you get in trouble with a short drop too.

Hopefully Louis turns into a good player...he's really athletic but raw. I remember he had some character issues coming out of school too and now he's being converted from TE to LG.

I think the real story is that Tiger appears to be a bigger jerk than ever. Seriously, for someone whose claiming to get back in touch with his Buddhist roots, his press conferences are unbelievably curt. He's cutting off reporters with snide remarks all the time. I don't mind it, it's actually kind of funny, but no one seems to be mentioning it.

Maybe it's healthier if you allow yourself to believe in one optimistic, media-driven training camp angle. I'm going with Forte showing burst and shake.

Typical offseason fluff. It's truly meaningless. I mean it might not be but there's even odds that it is. Even preseason games don't mean anything. Remember when Cutler walked into Denver and tore up the Broncos in what was described as a playoff atmosphere? Didn't change [expletive]. The Bears will stink, false optimism, etc, etc.

Still more promising than Rudy's I'd say. What does Rudy do besides shoot the three ball? He had a sick dunk in the Gold Medal game.

People talk about how great those Cardinals safeties were last year and then they couldn't stop anyone's passing game. Kampman would've been nice to get though. At least he's not on the Packers any more.
