Did they do something to speed up the games again? Less than 3:15 for full regulation of Utah/Pitt including all the timeout shenanigans at the end.

Whoever this guy on Versus calling Pitt/Utah has no idea how to get excited about football...which is weird because he's constantly yelling on the hockey broadcasts.

The only times he didn't suck was when he was handing off. He threw a handful of nice passes, but anybody who can get an NFL job can do that on occasion. He didn't suck in the playoffs.

I doubt it. Seriously, South Carolina has kicked off the season the last few years and all the games have sucked. And not in an SEC SPEED + DEFENSE SLUGFEST kinda way. They're just really poorly played and unwatchable. Pitt/Utah could be interesting though.

It's likely Olsen won't show anything this year, at least numbers wise, that'll make his value any higher after this season.

That was the rumor around draft time. I'd do the deal but it'd be nice to have had that pick in the fold for this season. ...Of course I don't really think Olsen's value is that high.

You're still competing with them. It'll only be a little lame when both teams meet and they're already guaranteed a matchup in the championship game. Actually that'd be really lame but probably very rare, especially if Michigan doesn't get its act together.

At least the Big 10 ended the charade that MSU/PSU was some sort of rivalry that anyone cared about.

The Jets have more good football players than almost any team. That's why they should be good, IMO. Although if Revis doesn't come back then who knows. Wasn't he supposed to sign an extension last week or something?

Tiger said he'd "absolutely" break Nicklaus' record of 18 majors. I'm telling you, this guy's ego is bigger than ever. Anyway, I used to think he'd easily cruise past Jack and rack up 25 or so majors but now I'm not so sure. I'll give him like a 70% chance. One way I think about it is that he has to win 1 more major than Mickelson has won in his entire career to break the record. It's a tall order.

I've never heard of Scottie beating up his girlfriend or having (that many) illegitimate children. The tipping thing is well known though. I even trolled UMFan about it on RealGM using lines lifted directly from Reservoir Dogs.
