  1. When a runner breaks the plane and then has the ball stripped before the whistle it's always ruled a TD on at least instant replay. I think that's what he means.
  2. Nah...just the one comment. Just the one? That's hyperbole.
  3. Looks like a Jackson Pollack.
  4. In 10 or so years when baseball is a solvable equation actually watching the games will seem quaint.
  5. Omiyale did give up on that block, but Cutler has to know they aren't blocking for that long. He held it too long, and then should have felt pressure from behind and just tucked it down. Then again, it wasn't that far from being incomplete with the arm moving forward. I was just wondering where the dump offs were. Every time Cutler held the ball for too long (which was often) it didn't even look like there were targets in the flats or anything. Guess that's Martz for you.
  6. Maybe he'll be motivated by child support payments.
  7. They'll stop putting Wilson on an island. He's probably the best Boise State football player of all time and a 1st round pick, not exactly some scrub project that should be written off after one game.
  8. Does their current status actually affect NCAA revenue? Deals are in place and contracts are signed years in advance, do you think they'd suffer much without them? Yeah. Maybe somebody fills the vacuum but it'll probably be a program like Ohio State, Texas, or Florida where basketball is a mere diversion. You start knocking off programs like Kentucky, KU, UNC, etc. and you're killing your economic base when it comes to TV.
  9. He's a fine swing linebacker you just don't want him starting.
  10. Yeah, good point about Pittsburgh being bigger and more important as a city in the 70s. I had forgotten about the Oilers too. Still lame.
  11. Dallas is actually a big city though and until recently had a monopoly over the state of Texas.
  12. Yeah why the hell do the Steelers have so many fans everywhere? I don't get it at all.
  13. Between Rice, Stafford, and Grant the Bears are making out like bandits with divisional injuries.
  14. The NCAA isn't going to kill a cash cow program no matter how long ago major violations were.
  15. http://www.mindwafers.com/uploads/2/6/5/2/2652351/2998147.jpg
  16. McCluster, Arenas, and Berry are the great athlete types Angelo loves to draft except they actually played against good teams and in big games instead of whatever local prison league Johny Knox and Danieal Manning were up against.
  17. Arrowhead has to be the loudest stadium in the NFL by far when they've got something to cheer about. That place is popping. Plus the Chiefs got McCluster, Berry, and Arenas in one draft. That's murderous.
  18. Shonn Greene appears to be in the doghouse. Also that presnap Peyton Manning bs the Jets were running all game was a complete failure.
  19. I'd say the only time you'd kick the field goal is if all you need is a field goal to take the lead and time is absolutely a factor. I don't view 9 minutes being left in the game as much of a consideration at all. That's an eternity.
  20. CJ Watson is apparently involved in Floyd Mayweather's baby mama drama. http://www.tmz.com/2010/09/10/floyd-mayweather-jr-arrest-report-nba-play-cj-watson-domestic-violence-case-arrested-grand-larceny/
  21. I'm quasi-counting Nebraska @ Washington.
  22. I guess this is Pac 10/Big 10 challenge weak except most of the games are completely lame.
  23. Well you can ask him to do a better job of blocking.
  24. I'm hoping for random massive upsets because I see don't much to get thrilled about in this slate of games. Iowa/Arizona is the game of the week.
  25. We've got ourselves a QB controversy in Philadelphia. Vick's throwing dimes.
