  1. Between Rice, Stafford, and Grant the Bears are making out like bandits with divisional injuries.
  2. The NCAA isn't going to kill a cash cow program no matter how long ago major violations were.
  3. http://www.mindwafers.com/uploads/2/6/5/2/2652351/2998147.jpg
  4. McCluster, Arenas, and Berry are the great athlete types Angelo loves to draft except they actually played against good teams and in big games instead of whatever local prison league Johny Knox and Danieal Manning were up against.
  5. Arrowhead has to be the loudest stadium in the NFL by far when they've got something to cheer about. That place is popping. Plus the Chiefs got McCluster, Berry, and Arenas in one draft. That's murderous.
  6. Shonn Greene appears to be in the doghouse. Also that presnap Peyton Manning bs the Jets were running all game was a complete failure.
  7. I'd say the only time you'd kick the field goal is if all you need is a field goal to take the lead and time is absolutely a factor. I don't view 9 minutes being left in the game as much of a consideration at all. That's an eternity.
  8. CJ Watson is apparently involved in Floyd Mayweather's baby mama drama. http://www.tmz.com/2010/09/10/floyd-mayweather-jr-arrest-report-nba-play-cj-watson-domestic-violence-case-arrested-grand-larceny/
  9. I'm quasi-counting Nebraska @ Washington.
  10. I guess this is Pac 10/Big 10 challenge weak except most of the games are completely lame.
  11. Well you can ask him to do a better job of blocking.
  12. I'm hoping for random massive upsets because I see don't much to get thrilled about in this slate of games. Iowa/Arizona is the game of the week.
  13. We've got ourselves a QB controversy in Philadelphia. Vick's throwing dimes.
  14. I just cant see how you take away a chance to have the lead. Your d makes a huge play for you and gives you the ball at the 1 yard line and you get 0 points from it? It took the Bears until 1:30 left to actually take the lead. They apparently didnt have a huge margin of error. If we're talking about nebulous moral victories then their D holding you to a field goal in that situation is a win for them. The thing is, sticking a crappy offense on its own one foot line is a big advantage. You kick a FG, you give them the ball and they presumably aren't standing in the shadow of their own goal post on the next drive. A 1 point lead with 9 minutes left isn't some insurmountable lead. The worst part of the sequence was not sneaking it on 1st and goal.
  15. Although the numbers say punting from around the opponents 40 on 4th and <5 is a dumb move too.
  16. I'm going to defend Lovie on that one particular call. I don't mind it that much. I bet the hard numbers say you go for it on 4th down in that situation unless you're talking about the clock really being a factor.
  17. GB opening up a can.
  18. Yeah he's a boom or bust QB. But there's always room for improvement. I'll take this type of game out of him for the most part...that 3rd and 20 wasn't a killer, if it hadn't been returned a decent amount it would've been as effective as one of Maynard's weak ass punts.
  19. Lotta people going down in this Packers/Eagles game.
  20. Kevin Kolb stinks. FREE MIKE VICK
  21. It's gonna be a 1 EST start according to the Bears website. Does Dallas usually play home games at 1 EST? Seems like they're one of the more popular late game starts.
  22. who had coverage on johnson on the play in question, because he was covered well and johnson just made a great play. Pretty sure Bowman was on him all game.
  23. You can't have expected any different than that UMFan. If that call went against the Bears there'd be a riot.
  24. lol, it wasn't that weak. They had 100 yards of total offense until Peppers bashed Stafford. And then they did shut down Hill for whatever that's worth. He's started before! They didn't really run it much either.
  25. There were also more effective halfback screen passes today than in the entire Ron Turner era.
