    we already got those fast cbs last year and then cut them. Thats why I expected it again.

    Little surprised there, but can't complain, by any stretch. Very, very solid player and we got a 3rd guy that legitimately can compete in year 1 for a starting job.

    Emery's post-Bostic pick interview really telegraphed a CB pick is coming next. I hope its not set in stone, but it kind of sounded like it was. I'm fine with a CB, but this pick should be BPA, in my opinion. Especially since I think our first two were need based. Not great values, but at least possible we found two Week 1 starters.

    Maybe we just drop the developmental QB idea. I guess it'd be tough to get mad at Barkley or Nassib in the 4th, but outside of those 2, I'd rather just use our 3 remaining picks on a CB, WR, and C. Outside of those positions, Alex Okafor, Khaseem Greene, Dion Sims, David Bakhtiari, Jordan Mills, and Akeem Spence would all be OK with me as value picks. My personal top 5 for the Bears in the 4th are Ryan Swope, Jordan Poyer, Barrett Jones, Brian Schwenke and Quinton Patton.

    Oh well, Emery said we're not moving up, so time to hope a few CB start dropping. Said there spirited debates between LB and CB in 2nd.

    I'd have been more comfortable passing on Brown if an excellent drafting team didn't take him 6 picks later.

    Surprised the Lions passed on Watson there. Pissed teams haven't traded up for QB's, don't want Bears to be tempted.

    After last nights reach, I'm coming to terms we're about to take a QB at 50.

    Allright, I guess I'll take the defeated stance of at least we took a guy that could start for us. Even if I think it was a big reach. On the 2nd. Lots of guys I really like still left. Take a WR like Hunter, Allen, or Woods, I'm happy. Ertz? Happy. D-line still has Carradine, Hankins, and Short available. Happy with any of them. LB has Brown, Minter, even Te'o. Happy there as well. DB? Still have Banks, Alford, and Cyprien. Again, good value. I think my top 5, in order, would be Hunter, Ertz, Brown, Minter, and Allen.

    I definitely would have taken 30 and 92, considering who we took. I can't imagine he wouldn't have been there at 30, if we were dead set on him.

    My prediction is we trade back towards bottom of 1st, wind up with Pugh, Brown in the 2nd, Swope in the 3rd, and a QB in the 4th.

    For as little as we agree on in baseball, its the total opposite in football. I don't want a LB at 20. Not even Ogletree. I think there's a solid chance we can get Brown at 50.

    Kudos to Sickels for getting an extremely nice list together. Sucks there's so little pitching on it, I'd love to come away with Torres and one of Perez, Diplan, or Tseng though.
