  1. Just saw someone mention its 12.9 guaranteed on Houston.
  2. Byrd is headed to New Orleans for a visit. Joseph signs with Vikes. I think what I'm hoping for now is Willie Young and Melton to be re-signed. Or Tillman. Or some sort of starting CB, like Tarrell Brown.
  3. 2 year deal on Mundy. I definitely see either a high pick or another FA added there. I wonder though, if Peppers needs to be cut, with what's gone down so far. Granted, it seems inevitable, with the trade talk and all, but unless something else fairly large is happening, my guess is he could be kept.
  4. Mundy was 57th ranked S according to PFF. Sounds awful until you see Conte was 167th and Wright 171st.(last)
  5. Mundy finalizing deal. Competition for Conte. Hopefully, that's all they're looking at him as.
  6. Mitchell has a deal in place, but not with Bears. Sounds like Bears have made lots of calls and some small offers, according to Biggs.
  7. Better get a good backup. 13 games in the last 2 years. Not a difference maker when he is in there. Whatever he costs, I'd rather have spent 500K-1Mil more on someone similar who might actually play 16 games this year. With Briggs, DJ, Bostic, Greene, and McClellin, I'm thinking all we'll add is a mid round type for depth. If there's an injury, maybe they get a vet to come in late.
  8. [expletive] awesome. I'm so glad we've got a handle on the O-Line now. We still sorta need a RT but it could be a lot worse Yeah, I can see that, but Mills is acceptable for now and at least has upside.
  9. Wow, Houston had more hurries than Bennett or Johnson and 14 more than Peppers. Lol, Saffold playing OG for Raiders.
  10. DJ back on a one year deal is solid.
  11. [expletive] awesome. I'm so glad we've got a handle on the O-Line now.
  12. 15 guaranteed on Houston isn't bad at all.
  13. Whitner got 4/$28. That's crazy. Ward was wanting 8 per year. Lol Browns.
  14. Good. Now go get Ward somehow. Willie Young would be nice too.
  15. So Ward is leaving Cleveland, since they just signed Whitner.
  16. Sure why not. Go get 'em Jets. Looks like Tampa wants him, Tillman, and Hester.
  17. Hamstring issue for Pierce. May miss his opening start.
  18. Looks like McCown coming back is remote. Not that I really care. Trestman can make another McCown.
  19. He's got to do something while recovering from "burnt ass" after the TV deal stuff. But we better not say anything questioning him or else he'll mute right up. He's punishing us by not giving out Cubs stuff, you know....
  20. Cross Johnson off , looks like he's headed to Tampa Bay.
  21. Oh come the [expletive] on. Please be OK, Pierce.
  22. Realistically, assuming we cut Peppers, we need 2 starting DE, a starting CB, a starting SS, and could use a DT upgrade and a FS upgrade as well. And this is figuring DJ being brought back, when it's still a need at LB, even if he is. Personally, I don't think we can count on more than 2 starters coming thru the draft, although I can see rotational players also contributing on top of that. Re-sign DJ and spend a 4-6 round pick on LB Draft a DT by round 3 Spend on FA DE and spend 1-2 round pick here too Re-sign Peanut and spend 4-6 round pick here Sign SS and spend 1-3 round pick on FS That's my guess, leaves 2 picks in the 4-6 rounds to spend between O-Line, WR, TE, and QB.
  23. Better option than Johnson from the standpoint of it leaving us money for other things too.
  24. If you lined up our OF depth chart 10 deep, I'm not sure the back five would be any worse than the top five. It's all one big undifferentiated mass of fourth-outfieldiness. That made me laugh. I'll likely cry in a minute when I see its a completely true statement.
  25. Going to contribute what? A 40% K-rate? Contribute to the waiving of [expletive] Vitters.
