    In context, he's an up the middle guy, putting up an .801 OPS as a 19 year old in High A, while Rafael Devers, same aged 3B prospect darling, is putting up a .648 OPS in the same league.

    We need Edwards to be a factor for us. The control usually doesn't come back to bite him, but it obviously did tonight. Part of me wonders if he eases off the velo a bit, if the control comes back somewhat.

    I'm not even saying they'll ever pitch for us. There's been a few articles this week where McLeod has said they've not developed there own pitching yet. But with the success they've had with hitting, coupled with bringing Hendricks into the system and even developing Rondon......I think he's being hard on himself intentionally. We've got upper end position players and the strength in numbers approach to pitching will show itself relatively soon, just not at a high rate, unless Cease develops. But we've got p!enty of guys that likely wind up with major league careers.

    5 2 0 0 1 5 line on 59 pitches for Tseng. We may not have any pitching that's hit the majors yet under this regime, but its coming. Guys like Blackburn and Tseng are going to pitch in the majors, in some capacity. I feel more comfortable with them than I do with Johnson at this point. In fact, I think I'd take Blackburn over Underwood too, in a total career type standoff.
