  1. During the Bulls game on ESPN1000 they said the Cubs signed him. Levine will be on the postgame with the details.
  2. Is anything happening today? I have not heard any updates on Fuk, or Roberts.
  3. I think Sori stays in the leadoff spot. He K's to much to be put in big RBI situations. Just MO. I wish he would cut down his swing a little and be more selective at the plate.
  4. Someone go kidnap Jim Hendry and impersonate him and actually make good moves. I nominate Vance or Hoops. :D
  5. No trades yet? Kinda boring so far.
  6. Do you think????? Hendry???? Pie, Hill, Marmol, Colvin??? Maybe Hendry could talk them into Marquis and eat some cash. That would be a devistating rotation. The life of a Cubs fan....always dreaming.
  7. =D> =D> Bravo Kerry, Bravo. =D> =D> Too bad MLB don't have more people in the game like Kerry Wood.
  8. Does anyone think Hendry is thinking along the same lines as us? :-k
  9. According to one of his quotes, he said he would play wherever his new team wanted him to play. I think it was one of Olnys blogs. If he could drop 20-25 lbs. I think he could be a good LF'er. I'm not sure how strong or accurate his arm is though. If we could get him and keep Pie in Center..... \:D/ Well, he wouldn't be a LF with the Cubs. He would go to RF. And yes, his arm is good enough that he can play anywhere he wants. Why did I say LF? Maybe I have turkey on my brain. Yes, RF is what I was thinking. If they give up Marmol, then Woody has to be re-signed. IMO

  11. I would love to have Cabrera in LF. The Winter meetings should be very interesting. I would love to see Hendry pursue some big and SMART trade ideas. Key word being SMART. Anything to keep him away from Kaz and his agent.
  12. Very true.
  13. :-k Hmm...I wonder who is available?
  14. According to Kaplin on The Score Woody wants 2 yrs 10mm. Sounds like it will happen. I would assume that there will be lots of incentives.
  15. So, the question is: Was this trade made to 1. Save money and clear space in the OF for Fukadome? 2. Aquire Infante to be a piece in a bigger trade 3. Play Infante at SS and have Theriot as a super utility guy 4. Because this is Hendry being Hendry
  16. I'm with Cuse on this one. This might be a prelude to a bigger trade. What is Tampa's infield situation like? He could be spun to them in a Crawford deal. :-k
  17. I want to hear that the Cubs have at the very least, discussed Arod.
  18. Quick question. When are the GM meetings? When and where are the Winter Meetings? I think as soon as the GM meetings are over, we will know where we stand on the Arod situation....at least have a better idea.
  19. I think if Lou has any say in it, the Cubs will at least talk to Boras and Arod. Test the water so to speak.
