See, that's the problem. You're comparing what you view as VH's best song with a song that's not even LS's top. It's just the one you've heard most. It's like using "Creep" to judge Radiohead, or "All Along the Watchtower" to rate Hendrix. If Jump is just what I view as their best song, then what's the problem with comparing it to what I view as LS's best song? This tournament is all about subjectivity anyways isn't it? From the seedings to the matchups to the votes, subjectivity is the name of the game. Some here (not pointing at you Constable, you just have the misfortune of being quoted in this post) are taking this way too seriously IMO. It's about who you like, not who is more well-respected or whatnot. Haha I'm not trying to take it seriously at all, I just think it's fun. OK, what I was trying to convey is, I know this is mainly a contest based on subjectivity, but I think there are some objective ways at looking at how good two bands are. With any argument comparing two variables, one must at least try to level the controls. I thought that your post skewed the controls -- no one could reasonably say that 3 Doors Down is a better band than The Rolling Stones because "Landing in London" is a much better song than "Rough Justice". Everyone's entitled to their own opinion; I just thought the way you presented yours made for a weaker argument (obviously, nothing personal).
