He's Pat Kane, he shouldn't have to tip. Hell that cabbie shouldn't have even charged him for the privledge of having him in his taxi. As I said before, there's an earlier report that said the fare was $13.80 and he gave $15. He asked for 20 cents back. That would imply that he did tip. They were probably drunk and being annoying, and when the cabbie refused to give them 20 cents back, they got belligerent, punched him, and took their money back. Yes, it's a pretty awful thing to do, but it's not some ridiculously heinous act. Settle with the cabbie, the DA will probably drop the charges, and get back to hockey.
