  1. So you're saying if [something happens] then [team X] will try to [big impact signing or trade] and [team y] would look to [big impact signing or trade]? http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view6/4307364/can-t-wait-o.gif

  3. Yeah you don't even have to show up early anymore to get a good seat. 20-30 min before first pitch is all it takes. There's some truth to the bleachers being relatively better vs. the rest of the park when the team sucks.
  4. feels more like you're trying to be hip by saying they don't because they do No, they really don't. There are fewer tourists, you can yell things without ushers saying anything to you, and you can stand up without folks asking you to sit down. There are several disadvantages to sitting in the bleachers, especially for a 70 year old man, but it's a really fun place from which to take in a game. This is a subjective matter that I'm entirely confident saying you are wrong on. 2 seasons of sitting in 433 and being forced to move to bleachers this year for moving to a night and weekend package (and being completely bummed about it, mostly due to GA seating) . It's anecdotal, and I won't stay as a bleacher season ticket holder, but my in game experience is so much more fun.

  6. On the bright side, an OMC-special, trailer park treasure is sitting in front of me.
  7. I dont recall it going around several times like it is right now.
  8. The wave is legitimately circling Wrigley. I'm embarrassed to be at this game. What the [expletive]?
  9. There hasn't been an opposing player more fun to heckle than a guy named Khris.
  10. My only gripe is the zipper front. Too gimmicky.
  11. Dude! Warn us before posting NSFW stuff! that was literally in the link Only when quoted. It looks like the below otherwise. "http://deadspin.com/se-missouri-redhawk ... 1577475970"

  14. Is that a Scientology thing? No, he's pissed at people from Crete. Closer. Can't believe none of you have ever heard the expression. I used to hear it all the time. Probably because you misspelled it.
  15. I didn't hear that bit, but the part about quarterbacks was the most interesting to me. I think it was every QB that's arrived in the last 8 years and made 40+ starts was drafted in the top 3 rounds. That is interesting, but isn't some of that to be expected irrespective of performance? There's definitely some "We drafted this guy high because we believe in him, and we'll take our chances with him" that goes on. After all, this list does include some stinkers. I really liked this analysis FO put together -- especially the breakdown of QBs by draft round over time.
  16. It's like a bad SNL sketch. I know, when the Hawks and Bruins were matched up last year, my friends in Boston kept saying their anthem is better, and when I laughed they said 'just watch'. Well I watched, and then I broke out into fits of laughter. WTF is that [expletive]? http://www.csnchicago.com/sites/csnchicago/files/rene-national-anthem.gif
  17. Ty Isaac is transferring. I'd love him to follow in Prater's footsteps and head to NU.
  18. The Cubs start #1, got pwned by #3 last week, and intentionally walked #5 this week. Yay!

  20. Did you read some quotes from him somewhere? No one has. That's the point.
  21. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/209061/1962WrigleyFieldFrontHomeoftheChica.jpg Pretty sure he was joking...

  23. Yeah, keep it like that. One, because it looks cool, and two, I'd love to hear the mouthbreathers flip out over it.
