Neither Seager /Baez are going to put up better numbers than Castro for the next year or two, that's why I didn't bring up Baez. Seager can always transition to 2B/3B in a year or so. Uribe was a pleasant surprise for them and should be around again next year. The outfield, as you mentioned, is jammed now even more so when you consider Dee Gordon should be playing CF rather than 2B. The clubs match up well. Both clubs would be dealing from a position of strength. Cubs might have to sweeten the deal by including another prospect and/or take on a bad contract to get it done. It's not everyday that you get an opportunity to trade for impact talent like Puig. That puts Puig in center while Alcantara moves to 2B and Baez would get a full season at SS to sink or swim. Russell will be ready by then. If Bryant doesn't stick at 3B there are still options to fill that need, which in turn, could allow Schwarber to concentrate on catching and not get rushed into playing left field. Renteria would be the perfect person to get the most out of Puig and help smooth some of his abrasive behavior. Can't help but think that having Puig and Soler on the same team could bring positive results. Colletti is a tool and there are rumors that is going to get canned with Friedman from Tampa coming in to GM.
