  1. I paid $175. So my two bleacher tix cost me $156 with all the fees and shipping included. All in all I paid $331 for the pair. ($175 password + $156 to the Cubs box office) Definitely much better than the $800/pair you're probably looking at for 2 bleachers. Hopefully this works. I think it will. As far as I know, once the tickets are sold, the Cubs don't give a sh!t who bought them. I'd hope. But, I thought I remembered they said the name you signed up for with the raffle was supposed to match the credit card...hopefully no trouble comes up.
  2. And that's why I don't go on Cubs.com. Guy just copy pasted a Mets email and switched it to Cubs. Sorry. and typing in large font makes me feel important
  3. Guy on Cubs.com has just got an (successful) email.
  4. Cubs.com posters still have got nothing either. Keep in mind, even if you get through, you're still not guarenteed anything. Then it just becomes first come first serve tommorrow (I believe), and i'm sure they select more people than tickets.
  5. Any day now...
  6. Don't want to get my hopes up..... but I did :glare:
  7. http://www.sacbee.com/100/story/1248904.html I love me some Cain, but that definately sets the Brewers back. One or the other makes more sense, but not both from the Brewers POV.
  8. Kenney and the Cubs also telling potential bidders what they expect the payroll to be next season: http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/cubs/1167605,CST-SPT-cubnt17.article
  9. MLBTR mentions the Cubs with Tazawa, but with no link so it's probably just an assumption since we are more active over there like with Kosuke.
  10. Don't know if this should be in Minors, if so, feel free to move. Anyways, Levine was on the radio this morning and mentioned a few things he has heard from scouts at Sox games. I was only half listening so i'm not 100% on the actual teams he said, but I think he said that Pat Gillick has an offer he will likely accept to be the president of a team (Blue Jays it might have been) and that he plans on hiring Wilken to be his GM. Just passing it along. He also mentioned something about Cashman taking a job somewhere else, but again I was only half listening. I was listening enough to hear that he sounded pretty sure on the Wilken info though.
  11. Cubs told Wood he is not available when he came to the ballpark. Wood told Kap he feels great and will be calling Lou and Larry if we're up in the 8th and it's a save spot. :-))
  12. Good outing today could push Harden's ERA below 2.
  13. Jay overtakes the throne in my sig.
  14. J. Any chance these games actually get played?
  15. About time they said something about Jay.
  16. Beckett at #3? Every time I look he's giving up 6 runs...
  17. Vitters 1/1 with a double.
  18. Wasn't his ERA like 5 or something? Even if he had good velocity it's not like he could have blown us away or anything, but I definitely would have liked to snag him.
  19. Josh Hamilton was just intentionally walked with the bases loaded in the 9th.
  20. Maestri shoutout on ESPN covering the Italian kids in the LLWS thing.
  21. Yeah, I doubt Vitters is in Peoria this year. If they've waited this long with his current success, I doubt they would. Then again, maybe they would for a game or two just to meet some of his teammates again since he will be there next year.
