    Honestly, it's kind of true. The main thing that was exciting about him for me was the velocity (heard touching 98 and stuff) so I assumed the fastball was sitting 93-94. But I read the other day he's been sitting 88-92. The numbers are obviously terrible. About the only good thing I can say is he's supposedly spinning a good breaking ball right now. Not that I wouldn't take him 1 for 1 for Demp in a heartbeat, but i've got concerns.

    It would be fun to hear Schwarzenegger excitedly pronounce Bijan Rademacher. I feel like that's the perfect group of syllables for his voice.

    Honestly, posts like those piss me off. If you're going to give us obvious "clues" that make it pretty easy to know who you're talking about, then just tell us the actual names in the first place. That might be all he was told, or all he feels comfortable without burning his source of information. I wonder if they think they can fix Oliver's control problems. Oliver, Crosby, and Smyly would be who he's referring to i'm assuming. Who knows which, though I doubt they'd want to move Smyly. I forgot about Oliver actually, but i'm not all that interested.

    I don't think the package for a starter with a 4.37 FIP begins and ends with the top-hitting prospect in baseball. The chance to deal for Wil Myers was this past offseason. They can't move him now, people went ape [expletive] for him all weekend here. My mock offseason of Garza for Wil Myers (while value was low...though not sure KC would have been interested in offseason), trading for Quentin, trading for Rizzo, and signing Cespedes would have been pretty dirty with the results each have shown. I neglected pitching for the most part, but i'd take a season of crappy pitching for that young core. Though it looked even better when BJax was looking like a stud.

    I imagine Dave Kaplan finds it tragic that Giancarlo Stanton will never fulfill the tremendous potential that Mike Stanton once possessed. Don't know if that was the first time that joke was used, but that was good.
