I think they are strongly leaning towards Vitters, but I just don't think its set in stone yet. Sadly, I see the Cubs brass split between Parker and Vitters. Rumor has it Porcello is asking for way more than the Royals are going to spend, and they're leaning towards taking Vitters now... which leaves us with a damn high school pitcher. Parker honestly is very good. Consistently at 95 and tops out at 99, great and smooth mechanics, very good control, plus slider. Changeup is worse then the previous 2 pitches, but is expected to be a plus pitch once he uses it more.
