Odubel Herrera is like a 5-win player now, Aledmys Diaz is hitting .300 and Willson Contreras is a clear star in the making, so it's hard to confidently shovel dirt on any player with talent a team publicly gives up on
Doolittle is the dream because we know Beane seems to favor a quantity-over-quality approach to trades where we can surrender less star power and give up more player control to A's is it crazy to think he might take Candelario, Clifton, Vogelbach? i don't think so
in the past calendar year, Francisco Lindor has 7.4 fWAR, tying him with Bryce Harper for 4th in MLB during that span also, Kershaw has a full 11 wins in that time...'99 Pedro was 11.6 fWAR
and the Rangers have had replacement level production at the two easiest spots to fill, and possibly the best hitting prospect in the minors, MLB-ready who can play either spot
Would much rather have Montero catching Hendricks. I imagine superior pitch framing benefits him more than any other pitcher on the roster. anybody can catch 87 on the corners though...i feel like Jake & especially Lester need it more with more movement on their pitches
i am but then again my baser instincts kick in and i want to somehow field a team with 3 catcher-possible players who all rake...Willson Contreras / Kyle Schwarber / Mark Zagunis?? Lester & Hendricks would understand
go to tomorrow's game instead so you can see top-10? pitching prospect Josh Hader instead of fat pinata Wily Peralta SS Orlando Arcia's a top-20 prospect too, but i doubt they have a future MLB starter there besides him, but maybe Michael Reed can be a Szczur type
There's a character actor that he reminds me of but I can't put my finger on it. I was thinking it was Vincent Schiavelli for a while, but that's not it.... http://static.tvgcdn.net/mediabin/showcards/celebs/s-u/thumbs/silas-weir-mitchel2_sc_140x187.png
