  1. i was trying to click through to your #content but it was half unreadable, a general fyi really
  2. viewport... http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160531/340255bb6977fc2088d4c912f03c4672.jpg
  3. Victor Robles has those sweet IsoDs but then you realize he's somehow been plunked more times than he's walked
  4. i think the laughable part was how heavily featured KC is, but this is still slightly better than last year's mockery
  5. i don't care a whole lot about Eovaldi but still mostly love the idea of trading Baez now (instead for Miller?) and then filling his role with any of a number of guys who should be freely available and don't figure to be much of a drop-off: Gordon Beckham/Marwin Gonzalez/Chris Owings/Andres Blanco/whatever have to think anybody in the Sands/Je. Baez/Tseng/Berg tier would get that done, similar to the Haren derby last year
  6. apropos of nothing, i believe we nearly acquired Eovaldi in the Dempster talks, but that still worked out for the best of course
  7. i more meant to communicate that i disqualify players who've been in the league for a short while but haven't technically surpassed rookie limits, like if Corey Seager still qualifies or whatever; so to omit guys who can now already be considered "proven MLB talent" so consider Joey Gallo among the list if you wish
  8. i mentally omitted SS, because their value immediately gets badly diminished here for 2+ years which for Law's updated list, leaves Giolito, Urias, Glasnow, Devers, Benintendi, Reyes, Moncada, Snell, Bregman (ranked higher than WC) - Urias is tempting, but innings management is a worry for partially throttling his value - Giolito has a near-5 RA in AA with shaky periphs, but he has been un-dongable, to be fair...he & Reyes, Glasnow are all tantalizing before the F pitchers mantra overcomes - Devers is still just the faint dream of Cano - Benintendi looks like Flyin' Hawaiian with a little more bat - Moncada looks like Joe horsefeathering Morgan still, mostly for organizational fit and team-preferred hitting approach i prefer Contreras to all but Moncada and possibly Urias, Bregman but i have in the past stated preferences toward keeping Castro & Soler over eminently better talents in the end, so it might be hot-streak intoxication clouding my judgment...also i should include disclaimer that i don't have any way of knowing if Contreras has Doumit/Gattis-level problems with receiving that might prove terminal
  9. Willson Contreras since the start of 2015 (184 G): .329/.411/.504, .417 wOBA, 157 wRC+ (11% BB, 12% K)...and his May line is very NSFW now we all give a list of minor leaguers with zero service time that you'd trade him for straight-up
  10. here's one with most of the hitters worth a damn (and even some who are not) http://www.fangraphs.com/minorleaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=0&type=1&season=2016&team=0&players=sa506657,sa657859,sa597757,sa549381,sa596954,sa737618,sa508176,sa658166,sa858802,sa550326,sa827194,sa830373,sa914203,sa737528,sa658226,sa830372,sa505993,sa597778,sa875023,sa829085,sa827207
  11. unrelated fyi, links within "Show list with all like actions" feature are broken
  12. fwiw it looks like Cade Foster hasn't updated his lineup since week 1, and has had 2 zeros in DL'd OFs for a while
  13. unsuccessful http://cbssports1.cbsistatic.com/hub/i/r/2016/05/28/a7ae74b9-ce2d-48f9-a1d9-184db130aafa/thumbnail/500x496/6b05e23023a248f1e9e0b042261e0bd4/julio-urias-dodgers.jpg
  14. it's pretty standard, if you're ever in other leagues
  15. you're never going to get that kind of attention; even 3-4 seems pretty sufficient
  16. then add vote vetoing, i don't know what the hold-up is
  17. oh, there were other people right here also expressing that these tilted trades are a bit of a problem...might you possibly have them on ignore or something?
  18. that was Dempster...
  19. FG has him at 2.7, 4th in MLB
  20. amazingly Brandon Guyer is at 3.5 WAR for his last 159 G plus he donged Jose Fernandez today, so i'm officially proclaiming we lost the Garza trade (that's bad) but it might have ultimately brought us Kris Bryant (that's good!)
  21. well those are your top 2 hitters, and Felix of course always stands out, but i won't deny the Arrieta miracle has also played a big part; this is why i say main foundation and not 'every mathematical point produced'
  22. but "nice Marwin Gonzalez type" doesn't move the needle as much as Andrew Miller or whatever we'd want to get back for him, is my only real point
  23. it pleases me to know that Kyle Hendricks has a better K rate than does Cole
