  1. bugs me that people think this pen resembles the Spring atrocity in any way gone are Hoover, Catham; Diaz is buried and the guys we've seen this series are all fairly good
  2. seems we really get disproportionally victimized by players with children's names Scooter, Billy, Tucker, ...
  3. not really giving this a serious reply but it's nice to know he can be Alfredo Simon and we'll still (simply cut him &) win that trade by shedding the 10m+ AAV that was due to near-rep level player
  4. we thought he was the Albino Villain but he was really the Albino Hero
  5. needs to work on his celebration game though
  6. if the Reds have 5 pitchers better than Raisel Iglesias, they'll definitely win the World Series
  7. .333/.416/.525 combined split since start of '15 (211 professional G) remember how most of the NL all-star team this year is going to be Cubs, and it's not really even a sham? we just added another bona fide all-star at maybe the hardest position to fill
  8. [tweet]https://twitter.com/BobbyBigWheel/status/749993126543187969[/tweet]
  9. ...what storylines? Here's What The Warriors and 29 Other Loser Teams With No Prayer of Winning Did Last Night!
  10. agree to disagree
  11. wow that's a lot of Ks for Underwood
  12. Duke does not want to #makeBaseballFunAgain
  13. if they start to put Zagunis back behind the plate then we'll talk
  14. he goes like 7 innings on average so that's not likely to be a real big deal
  15. the last 3 seasons he's hit 2% better than league average, which puts him roughly even with or better than 4-6 other starters in that lineup this year i love it
  16. it's nice to think about our likely lineup next year, and how there'll be elite (probable top-3-in-NL) attributes at every single spot elite hitting: Contreras/Schwarber(?), Rizzo, Zobrist, Bryant, Schwarber elite fielding: Rizzo, Russell, Bryant/Baez, Almora, Heyward
  17. in 420 PA
  18. vs LHP Russell has 16% BB/29% K and vs RHP Javy has 1%/24% rates so i'm far more confident Addi can fix his weak split
  19. Hall for Larsson is easily worse
  20. it's encouraging for sure but he's been sheltered; his splits vs. RHP are fairly horrid
  21. Tyler Holt turned around completely on that flyout...you don't often see OFs doing 360s
