    he was actually worth 2.0 fWAR in 48g as a catcher; his 24 game LF trial yielded basically replacement level output despite a really strong OBP there, cuz the D as a C: .291/.365/.525 (.319 babip), 137 wRC+, and did i mention he was Yadi & Lucroy's equal for framing (per statcorner)? ho hum another star i guess we control through the start of the next decade

    Joey Votto with a cool .408/.490/.668 2nd-half line, though not quite up to the standard of his 2015 (.362/.535/.617) and holy horsefeathering horsefeathers, did we know Trea Turner had 13 2nd-half HR?? or to put it another way, a higher ISO post-ASB than Trout...and 33 SB, for good measure Byron Buxton was top-5 in fWAR for September, despite 1/3 Ks...still no idea what becomes of this guy (Carlos Gomez?)
