    McCarthy is absolutely dismal at playing with the lead. he did the same thing last week going into hyper-conservative playcalling mode against the Vikings.

    i don't think his mechanics were ever questionable. the concerns over his health were obviously that he doesn't have the ideal height of a pitcher. Webb winning the CY would be a travesty. voters aren't going to have any qualms giving it to a pitcher on a bad team in the AL; i'm hoping Lincecum gets the same courtesy.

    he got stronger as the game went on, understandable given the layoff he hung around 90 with his FB as opposed to his usual 92; doesn't seem like too big a deal to me

    i actually vaguely remember Pujols sac bunting a runner to 3rd against us in like 2004. Farns walkoff BBed in the winning run if i'm remembering right. dumb play regardless.
