    Because the Jets are scum. Well yeah, but rooting for the Pats is like rooting for the Yankees. except the nfl has a hard salary cap, so the pats are consistently winning because they're smarter than almost everybody, not because they just outspend everybody. I'm aware. They still have that same cockiness about them. I'd rather see pretty much any team beat Belichick. of the two, the Patriots are the team too cocky for your taste?

    what the hell do the Bears deserve? they've seemingly played virtually every team with their 2nd, 3rd string QBs. if not for some weird process rule, they'd have missed the playoffs altogether.

    what's worst about it is the unflinching trust the majority of the fanbase seems to have in Dave Brandon, for whatever reason. oblivious to the crippling effect this will have (or already has had) on our recruiting class, it's somehow a virtue that he's taking his sweet time to pick a successor "you don't get to be as successful as he was in business, without having a well-executed plan and sticking to it" yeah, ok, pizzas. i'm sold, he can do no wrong.

    i can't really think of two teams that have committed more resources towards their CBs, really weird preferences

    [expletive]. Also, not to sound conspiratorial, but it's just bad luck that we had picked in the top-3 every year and had to severely overpay guys due to need (like $70m for Stafford) and now that we're out of the top, there's probably going to be a rookie cap and other teams can now afford to take these guys like Peterson or Prince high in the draft and not have to worry about giving massive contracts to a player at a position of lesser impact.
