um, i guess i badly botched my point (was watching football at the time) that was more meant that we didn't lose any players of major significance (returning three starters and the two we're losing were routinely mismatched athletically and get replaced by five-star types) point well remains that putting UI over UM next year is homer-ish lunacy

More importantly, why are players fleeing the program? What is that, 4 or 5 this offseason? The Burndidge (or however you spell it) transfer is kind of weird from the outside. He's from Michigan and had to know this was a possibility. Unless he completely hated it there or hated Beilein, why not wait a week to see if he would be the starting PG on a top 25 team? it didn't seem like much of a possibility at the time that Burke was going to declare. i think Brundidge just felt he wasn't going to see much more PT than he did this year pretty bad situation, though; Burke gets to join Darius Morris in the D-League on the heels of (imo) really bad advice
