  2. well, this has been a very enjoyable game to watch
  3. Matt Barkley just set a record for most pump fakes on one play
  4. ffffuuuuu sparty
  5. that happens every single game
  6. man, Devin Gardner looks great...I'd love to know what coaches saw in Bellomy to move him to WR most likely, yeah; Home has a no-visits policy for commits
  7. i love this, lots http://www.damnlol.com/pics/814/9ed6ab287d691cb7aa391033f6dd9d1d.gif
  8. we were primed for contention this season on the backs of Marlon Byrd, Blake DeWitt, Randy Wells and Carlos Zambrano before Theo came and fucked it all up
  9. Well, since I already don't deserve them, I'l have some fun with arbitrary endpoints and stripping the context out of facts: Teams GMed by either Theo Epstein or Jed Hoyer have 0 playoff appearances in their last five seasons. you stripped the facts out of facts, too- Boston made the playoffs in 08 and 09
  10. I have no idea what that means, but [expletive] this [expletive] is depressing. are there any other sports you've ever wanted to try to pick up? this is the best time for it ever. there's absolutely no reason to pay attention to the cubs next year. even the "young guys" who will be around won't be the young guys who are interesting when we're good again. the only reasons to watch are to confirm that brett jackson can't be a real major league hitter and to make sure starlin castro and anthony rizzo don't get hit in the face by a line drive and die. i don't really understand why you're assuming we won't make any noteworthy acquisitions
  11. i have the feeling we'll both be cursing that week 3 game at the end of the year
  12. until Anzalone leaves
  13. Michigan's tied with Bama for #1 in the entire country for pass defense (yardage) obviously our schedule's helped that some, but we lost our best cover corner in like the 3rd snap of the season, have a walk-on safety starting, only have one capable pass-rusher (a LB), and play this guy: http://mgoblog.com/sites/mgoblog.com/files/UponFurtherReview2010DefenseVsPennState_AB86/death6.2.jpg i'm going to start a campaign for Greg Mattison to be awarded god status or something
  14. i guess there were passages in Moneyball that were kind of inflammatory toward scouting, and JP Ricciardi firing most of his scouts ruffled a lot of feathers
  15. i love that there are organizations that still strongly feel this way, and don't really get why you guys are so revolted/offended by fans with these dumb opinions but it's hard to argue that SF isn't scouting really, really well of late
  16. he lazily named each team's QB there unless there was a glaringly obvious exception 7 of the 11 full-time QBs with the lowest QB ratings are listed there
  17. Pot brownies + Chicago style pizza will have him looking like CC Sabathia in no time. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_league_stew/post/could-you-down-tim-lincecums-usual-order-at-in-n-out?urn=mlb,wp675
  18. yeah, Tigers/Pistons/Red Wings fans haven't had much at all to celebrate in the last 10 years
  19. the Stafford gif with the grass is hilarious
  20. That is an absurd interpretation of how the announcers were calling the game. Gruden was creaming his pants over the Bears. Yeah, they were just saying it was unusual, and was daring the Lions to run. Which explains why the Bears gave up more running yards than they usually do. I fully expect the Bears to get back to shutting down the run after this. every team we've faced this year has played their two safeties absurdly deep like that, but we can't really exploit it much because Raiola and Backus are woefully poor run blockers and LeShoure can't break tackles/make guys miss i imagine better run blockers will be high on Schwartz's wish list this offseason
  21. come on down, Dee Milliner?
  22. BEST TEARS IN BASEBALL
  23. of below-average to average players? your logic is horribly flawed
