1. Law put Appel 33rd on his list
2. i think i will root for the Norwich City Futbol Club, since i was in fact born in a city called Norwich or, would that be a mistake?
3. I don't think you remember that. i vividly remember seeing those arguments at GRB
4. his career high in WAR (which he'll probably match this year) is 3; i don't have too much of an issue with it, even though personally i'd probably have fit him somewhere toward the beginning of the list
5. *checks Kevin Encarnacion's KC numbers* [expletive], another summer of this [expletive]?
6. yeah, Gallo has a 52% contact rate in AA Baez was 65.5%, Bryant 69%
7.
8. Evan Gattis last year - 39 games in LF & 48 games at C his fielding in LF was pretty dismal, though
9. early on, weren't reporters on twitter claiming Alcantara was mentioned in the deal, only to clarify later it wasn't actually Arismendy, but Raul
10. was it McLeod who drafted Spangenberg with the very next pick?
11. Chris Davis had 7 fWAR last year, now he's half the way through the season as a sub-replacement player
12. i think we stopped that, though abuck mostly alluded to it and didn't make formal decree so who knows
13. from July 1: 72% contact rate in July (45% swing rate)
14. Henry Rowengartner was acting kinda drunk
15. hate Shawn Estes, Alex Gonzalez, Todd Hollansworth, Jose Hernandez
16. career: +2.5 fWAR in LF -1.1 fWAR in CF i think he's probably still an acceptable cheap starter in LF, but he's simply not been a viable CF, and that's where he'd need to fit in to have a role here long-term he doesn't have much use as a 4th OF if he can't PH, can only field one spot (albeit very, very well) and it's not CF, so i guess we probably just trade him in the next calendar year if a cash-strapped team makes a half-way decent offer
17. that most definitely was not a changeup, mr. announcer can we start calling Soler 'Beast Tools' again
18. i like the creepy grimace Parker makes when he pitches well
19. i don't like the creepy grimace Parker makes when he pitches
20. boy this guy really earns his Jumbo nickname edit: <3
21. man, i'd loved to have seen a Rizzo-Chapman bout
