Womack when he's hot is a lot better than JP is now. No one is saying to play avg Womack over avg Pierre in CF, but when you got someone who is hot you need to ride them. Same thing with Jacque Jones... right now he's hot and hitting lefties, so he starts every day... when he falls back to earth he platoons with Nevin.
They need to back up the truck for Pierre, Maddux, and Wood, who aren't under contract for next year. The core of this team is fine, and trading a guy like Aram since he's started out in a slump is stupid.

Wilson's defense is also a lot better than Nevin's, plus he's a more experienced "emergency catcher" (played 21 games at the position in 2003). He's kind of redundant with Nevin here, but he'd be a much better long-term bench bat/platoon with Jones/DH in interleague.
