5-19 That is .208 ball That is in no way "keeping your head above water", that's a complete implosion. 3 wins of those wins are against the Nationals and Pirates, 2 of the 3 worst teams in the league. The Marlins, Pirates, and Nationals all have more wins in the month of May than the Cubs. We've been as bad as the Kansas City Royals this month, and the only teams we've played that are in the top half of their division are Arizona and the White Sox. The other 6 teams are the bottom two in their respective divisions, not counting the Cubs in the standings. They are also 6 of the 7 worst teams in the NL, recordwise to this point (again, not counting the Cubs). We are 4-15 against those six teams (Brewers, Pirates, Nationals, Marlins, Padres, and Giants). That's good for an awesome win percentage against those teams of .211. 2 wins are when our pitchers shut out the other team and another 2 wins are when they held the other team to 1 mere run. In other words, we've won 1 game since April 28 when our pitchers have given up more than a run.
