    Not if he's going to pitch like he did the other day in the intra-squad game, bouncing curves 5 feet in front of the plate and then getting pummeled when he got it over the plate.

    A nice little dig from Sullivan, but Baker might not have been commenting on the latest ST game, but rather on the kids ability to hit the fastball overall.

    Of course, but that's where it probably begins and our biggest stumbling block in trades is willing to part with that top prospect.

    From what I've heard (radio), Walker was playing solid D so far. I know that doesn't count for much as the Cubs probably have their minds made up on his defensive abilities, but it's something. Walker is pretty solid at 2B, being pretty surehanded. He just doesn't have the range. The knee probably doesn't help that either. :(

    It sounds like this is on Wood more than Hendry and Company. They have no idea if he's going to just pitch through some mild discomfort and then finally come to the trainer after the damage has been done. You know he didn't say anything right away b/c he just wants to pitch.
