you realize the difference between his OBP and a respectable OBP of .350 is about 1 hit every 4 games and 2 walks over the season so far, right? Nope, it still sucks, but what you notice isn't the best indicator of performance. And what so far has indicated that Pierre has been good so far this season? What is a good indicator of performance? I'm pretty sure most will say OBP is a good indicator of performance, especially for a leadoff man. He has less than 100 AB. he's 7/8 stealing with no errors in the field.
