He got beat down pretty badly. He looked ok in the first until he went 0-2 on Giles. Then things fell apart. Singles, doubles off the wall, HRs to the moon, a wind aided cheapie and that's all she wrote. so did it seem like a 'he thought that he had it, then in thinking he had it, he lost it' sort of deal? yup. he just couldn't get that final out in the first. he settled down and then got rocked again.
