I'm not so sure about that. Hairston almost caught that ball on the fly. turning his back to the play was a no no, but Hairston did almost get to it. pretty good range.

I would think one of the IFs or Howry would have seen it - the fans around home plate apparently did. That would depend on the location of the sun.
